# Synchronize with a new device

### Prepare your old device

On your old device, open Packr.

```
Navigate to Menu > Settings > Synchronize
```

Tap on the **Generate Sync Code** button.

You will get a three word code such as FULL.ALMONDS.CLUMPY

### Activate Premium on new device

On your new device, download Packr from the App Store. Then open Packr.

Navigate to Menu > Settings > Synchronize
```

Synchronization is a Premium feature. Tap on the **Already Purchased? Restore** button at the bottom to retrieve your previous purchase of Packr Premium.

### Sync your new device

As soon as Packr Premium is activated, navigate again to Synchronize.\
This time, tap on **Type Sync Code**.

Type the three word code you got from your old device.
